Adam Gönnert, MA

Adam Gönnert grew up in Hungary, spent part of his youth in Germany and Switzerland, studied at German-speaking universities, and has been living in Austria for the past four years.

From an early age, he was passionate about connecting with people and discovering new things – whether friendships, cultures, or sports. His international background has shaped his way of working: he is self-driven, open-minded, and guided by a strong “Getting things done” mentality. As a non-native speaker, Adam has a deep sense of empathy for international professionals, which helps him better understand and support job seekers in their career transitions.

After gaining broad experience in the hospitality industry across several countries, Adam decided to build a career in retail. During his time with the ALDI SÜD / HOFER Group, he became an expert in sales and operations. As a Regional Sales Manager, he led large teams, managed projects, and opened new stores. Later, as Purchasing Director, he was responsible for a diverse product range across five countries. This extensive experience gives him a strong understanding of what companies look for in future leaders in sales, procurement, and operations.

Alongside his corporate career, Adam has long been passionate about specialty coffee. He fulfilled his dream by opening his own café in the heart of Vienna. In his free time, Adam enjoys cycling and spending time with his wife, daughters, and hunting dog.
